Job Title Wellbeing Support Worker
Location: Rugby
Salary: £16,000 (pro rata)
Hours: Part time/2 posts available

1 x 10.5 hours per week – £4,540 p.a

1 x 12 hours per week – £5,189 p.a

Purpose of the job:

To support the delivery of the Rugby Wellbeing Hub, by carrying out a range of duties which ensure the wellbeing of clients and that an effective outcome defined delivery of support, advice, guidance and signposting is acheived.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide practical and emotional person-centred support that works towards empowerment and recovery appropriate for each individual client.
  • To provide light touch advocacy and guidance to clients using the service.
  • To assist in the planning/delivery of mental health and wellbeing outreach support sessions.
  • To provide one to one support including helpful information, practical solutions and identifying and signposting to other local services.
  • To support volunteers and peer supporters to deliver a drop-in which provides informal social support to attendees, light refreshments and activites.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of one year’s experience of working in a mental health setting.
  • Good communication skills.
  • An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and partnerships with other agencies.
  • Up to date knowledge of mental health and key issues linked to good wellbeing.
  • Strong commitment to empowering service users.
