Wellbeing for Warwickshire stories

Wall of Kindness

A statement from Dr Shade Agboola, Director of Public Health, Warwickshire County Council, following the lifting of legal Covid restrictions across England on Monday 19th July 2021
“We have supported our Wellbeing for Warwickshire Hubs throughout the pandemic to ensure they operate in a Covid-secure manner to protect the health and wellbeing of their staff, volunteers and Warwickshire residents. They have worked tirelessly to continue to offer mental health and wellbeing support to the people of Warwickshire online and in-person. We continue to provide Public Health advice and guidance to enable them to increase the provision of in person support in a safe and cautious way.
We would ask Warwickshire residents to support the Wellbeing for Warwickshire team by continuing to get tested and isolate if they have symptoms or a positive test for Covid-19, getting vaccinated and maintaining infection prevention measures including hand hygiene, wearing face coverings in enclosed settings and respecting personal space. All this will help to reduce risk of infections and reduce anxiety among staff, volunteers and others accessing services.”
