37 hours (8am – 8pm service)

Purpose of the job:
To be involved in the delivery of a range of early intervention and prevention activities for children and young people aged 5-18 years, within schools, community venues and CW Mind buildings across Coventry and Warwickshire. The activities will consist of therapeutic groups, mental health awareness sessions via assemblies, resilience workshops and offering 1:1 facilitated self-help provision.
You Will Have
Experience of working with a wide range of agencies.
Experience of working with children and young people and their families.
Experience of supporting in the delivery of mental health support services.
Experience of monitoring and evaluation.
Experience of working in schools.
Essential criteria includes:
NVQ level 2 or equivalent
An ability to drive to venues across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Have access to a vehicle as means of transport.
Flexible approach to working evenings and weekends.
Excellent communication skills, verbal, non-verbal and written.
Excellent team working skills and ability to work well as part of a diverse and dispersed team.
Be solution focussed.
An ability to effectively engage with young people and their families.
Good time management and organisational skills.
