Students visit from Hong Kong

It was a pleasure to meet students from China recently, as they visited Coventry and Warwickshire Mind to learn more about mental health care.

The 12 mental health students from Hong Kong Polytechnic University were on an exchange programme with Coventry University when they visited our new residential facility, St Clair Gardens in Foleshill, before meeting clients and staff at our Coventry Wellbeing Hub.

Led by Neil Kelly, Senior Lecturer in Mental Health at Coventry University, they also visited a number of other mental health care facilities as part of their visit to the UK over four weeks.

The visit on July 31st was not the first time Chinese students have found out about the work of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, as we have welcomed cohorts of students from Hong Kong going back several years as part of Coventry University’s exchange programme.

We hope to meet another group next year, too!
