Location: St Clair Gardens, Coventry
Salary: £38,000 per annum 
Hours:

37 hours per week

(to include occasional evenings/weekends/bank holidays and nights to cover, if required)

Purpose of the job:

 

To effectively manage the CQC regulated activities of a 24-hour Residential Recovery Centre.

To oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to clients, enabling them to develop and move on to live their lives independently.

To plan, co-ordinate and manage day to day service delivery, setting clear standards and targets, monitoring work quality and providing case management and advice, in regard to, complex and challenging issues.

To cover shifts on an occasional basis if required.

To provide expert advice and guidance to the project.

To promote and encourage a culture that works towards empowerment, recovery, also values equality and diversity and is proactively targeted to achieve levels of independence appropriate for each Service User.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience of working in a CQC registered care service (min 2yrs).
  • Previous supervisory/line management experience.
  • Experience in dealing with individuals with challenging behaviours.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of agencies.
  • Experience of monitoring and evaluation.
  • Able to plan, co-ordinate and work under pressure, whilst remaining professional.
  • Able to lead and motivate others.
  • Able to co-operate with other health professionals and build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Clear understanding of key issues within mental health.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent degree (RMA, RMN qualified nurse with NMC registration, Social Work or OT qualification).
  • Car driver with access to own vehicle and willingness to travel to venues across Coventry, Warwickshire and occasionally further afield.
  • Enthusiastic and innovative approach.
  • Strong commitment to empowering service users.
  • To participate in on-call rota.
