Job Title Primary Mental Health Worker

Salary: £15,847 per annum (£18,000 FTE)
Hours: 37 Hours – TERM TIME ONLY
Job type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Purpose of the job:

To be involved in the delivery of a range of prevention and early intervention activities within schools, community venues and CW Mind buildings across Coventry and Warwickshire for children and young people to children and young people aged 5-18 years.  The activities will consist of mental health awareness sessions via assemblies, delivering resilience workshops, and offering 1:1 facilitated self-help provision.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of one year’s experience of working with children and young people.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience of working in a mental health setting.
  • Experience of delivering workshops/groups to children and young people.
  • Experience of delivering services and undertaking monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of agencies.
  • Up to date knowledge of mental health, specifically in relation to children and young people.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • An ability to travel to venues across Coventry and Warwickshire.
  • Must have access to a vehicle as means of transport.
