National Three Peaks Challenge 2020
This open event is the perfect way for small groups and individuals to take part in the Three Peaks Challenge. Individuals and small groups of a similar level of fitness are put together to complete challenges, with the help of mountain guides and support staff.
The national Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, often within 24 hours. On these open events, we travel and walk in groups of about ten — made up of existing individuals and small groups of similar levels of fitness. Groups are led at each mountain by guides
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3,064 metres (10,052ft) – twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
It costs £295 per person, including a deposit of £147.50 which is required to reserve your place. If you fundraise and achieve the full amount of £295 your place will be free and anything raised above £295 will go to CW Mind.
The Three Peaks 24-hour challenges are usually run on a Saturday and Sunday and the Three Peaks 3-day challenges are usually run on Tuesdays to Thursdays. However, it can be arranged on any date if you have other requirements.
