Job Title Mental Health and Wellbeing Trainer
Location: Nuneaton & Bedworth
Salary: £9.36 per hour
Hours: 60 hours per year

6 x 10 hour courses to be delivered –

Jan-Mar, 1 x 10 hour daytime course

Apr-June, 1 x 10 hour daytime course and 1 x 10 hour evening course

Jul-Sept, 1 x 10 hour daytime course

Oct-Dec, 1 x 10 hour daytime course and 1 x 10 hour evening course

Purpose of the job:

Under the direction of the Service Manager, to deliver and evaluate a range of recovery focussed courses and workshops for people who use the service.  Geographic coverage / boundaries – Warwickshire North CCG Area for the AMBER project.

Location of Service Delivery – Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough for the AMBER Project. Evenings and weekend work will be required.

Applicants are required to have:

  • A minimum of two year’s experience of working with adults with mental health issues.
  • A minimum of two year’s experience of group facilitation or training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mental Health.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Up to date knowledge of mental health issues.
  • Flexible approach to working evenings and weekends.
