Job Title Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead
Location: Coventry and Warwickshire
Salary: £28,500 per annum (FTE)
Hours: Full-time  37 hours

Part-time hours considered

Job type: Permanent
Purpose of the job:

To support the organisation in developing good relationships and practices towards people across the equality’s strands.  To review and amend the existing equality & diversity policy; the organisations strategic view on equality and inclusion and to provide a specialist source of knowledge on equality & diversity issues.

At times, this post holder will lead specific pieces of work linked to increasing access rates across the organisation.

Essential Criteria Includes:

  • Experience of providing equality and inclusion advice and expertise
  • Experience of working with a wide range of people/agencies
  • Experience of designing, developing, facilitating training/workshops
  • Strong commitment to empowering service users
  • Excellent analytical skills leading to innovative problem solving
  • Excellent IT skills, in particular, using databases and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to form positive relationships
  • Understanding of Equality Legislation
  • An ability to travel to venues across Coventry and Warwickshire
  • Must have access to a vehicle as means of transport
