Early 2018 Challenge

Early 2018 Challenge

February 2018 sees the final Run for Rotary event take place at Draycote near Rugby, to give fundraisers the chance to raise money for charity.

Coventry and Warwickshire Mind was delighted to be chosen as a beneficiary of the winter series and a fantastic sum of 10 people took part in the second 10k race in November. Together they raised more than £1,000 to support the mental health services we deliver in Coventry and Warwickshire.

We are ever so grateful for the money raised by Coventry Building Society, Kenilworth Ladies Circle and The Emeryseb-

The final event takes place on 18th February next year, offering you the ideal challenge on which to focus your New Year fitness activities, whether you choose to run, walk, or jog the 10k course. All are welcome.

Mike Folly, fundraising chairman of Rugby Dunsmore Rotary Club, said: “Along with our fellow Rotarians from Southam 2000 Rotary Club, we were delighted with the second race of our Winter Trio. We have a growing reputation among elite runners, fun runners and those wishing to raise funds for their own particular good cause, for putting on a professionally organised event. With electronic timing, online pics of every finisher, medals, refreshments for everyone and a fantastic off road scenic location, our numbers of participants are increasing and we encourage more to join us for the next Run for Rotary on 18th Feb next year.

Would you like to take part and raise money for Coventry and Warwickshire Mind?

If so, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
