Job Title Director of Business Support
Location: Coventry, with travel required across Coventry, Warwickshire and surrounding areas
Salary: Circa £52,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hrs per week including occasional evening/weekend working and on call as required
Purpose of the job:

Due to the planned retirement of a key member of personnel, Coventry and Warwickshire Mind is looking to recruit to a new post.  The individual will be part of the Senior Management Team of one of the largest Mind organisations in the Country, supporting the strategic direction and growth of the Organisation, through business development and income generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the management of a designated team who provide business support and income generation to support the growth of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.
  • To have an innovative and user focussed, high quality approach to business support, which promote and value empowerment, recovery, equality and diversity.
  • As a member of the Senior Management Team, the post holder is expected to make informed decisions on a wide range of policy and strategic matters, which influence the effective management of Coventry & Warwickshire Mind.

Essential requirements include:

  • Experience of operating at a Senior Management Level.
  • Strategic management/Policy development skills.
  • Positive, supportive, proactive and solution focused approach.
  • Practical operational management/leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of income generation/business development.
  • Able to travel to sites/meetings across Coventry and Warwickshire by means of own transport.
