Cycle of Life

Marc Smerklo, a gardener at Rugby School, has taken the time to combine art with one of the gardens he looks after and made amazing sculptures linking to mental health and calling it ‘The Cycle of Life’: a commentary on mental health and patterns of nature.

To showcase his creations, a coffee morning was held at Griffin Gardens in Rugby to give people a chance to see his creations up close and make donations in support of mental health, with all the proceeds going to Coventry and Warwickshire Mind’s Wellbeing Hub in Rugby.

Fiona Palmer, Rugby Wellbeing Hub manager, went to take a look and was impressed by what she saw. Marc will go on to sell some of the bikes in future and the others will be auctioned off, with those funds going to our charity also.

We are so grateful to those who have donated and to Marc who took the time to build this sculpures in order to raise money for Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, while sending out a meaningful and positive message.
