Recovery & Wellbeing Academy

Service Update for winter months

The Recovery & Wellbeing Academy provides the opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills to become the expert in managing your own mental health and wellbeing. The academy believes that we are stronger together and works in partnership with experts by experience and experts by education in each subject area.

If you do require a face-to-face service, we can now offer that for you. Staff have worked hard to provide a Covid-safe environment. Unfortunately, this does mean that it will look and feel different to the face-to-face 1-1’s that we offered prior to March 2020.

For information, to see courses that are available, or for more information please contact below:

(024) 7622 9988

Since March 2020, staff have worked incredibly hard in developing the courses to make them accessible.

We have been teaching our courses digitally through Zoom and, since September, we have been introducing small classroom, face-to-face sessions.

The Academy is delighted to be able to offer you a choice of online Zoom courses and face-to-face courses throughout Warwickshire.

There is a huge range of available courses to choose from. Here is a selection of online Zoom courses, that commence in January:

  • Anxiety Management and Relaxation
  • Improving motivation
  • Positive thinking
  • Wellbeing for everybody
  • Understanding low mood and anxiety

Our face to face, classroom courses will recommence in February of the New Year Covid-19 restrictions allowing. These will include:

Coping with low mood and depression 24th Feb, Warwick
Anxiety Management & Relaxation 24th Feb, Bulkington
Anxiety Management & Relaxation 24th Feb, Stratford Upon Avon

Pathfinder

Service update for winter months

The Pathfinder service provides the opportunity to anyone living in Coventry, over 18 years of age, who is experiencing an emotionally difficult time in their lives to identify the causes and explore ways to make positive changes. You can have up to 8 sessions with a named worker that will support you to build resilience by helping people to recognise their early warning signs, enhance problem solving skills and develop coping strategies.

If you do require a face-to-face service, we can now offer that for you. Staff have worked hard to provide a Covid-safe environment. Unfortunately, this does mean that it will look and feel different to the face-to-face 1-1’s that we offered prior to March 2020.

To Access Pathfinder, or for more information please contact below:

(024) 7622 9988

Pathways@cwmind.org.uk

https://cwmind.org.uk/pathfinder/

Since March 2020 we have had to adjust the way we operate to provide the same quality of service, as safely as possible, but we have never stopped offering a 1-1 service to people. Despite all the changes since March, we have worked incredibly hard in developing and maintaining the same standard of service that you would have received prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Pathfinder staff have now become experts in offering support through telephone, digital and email, meaning that you can get the same support from the comfort of your own home.

Also, for the New Year, the Pathfinder team are delighted to be able to reintroduce small group sessions in Coventry. Just like the other face-to-face sessions, these workshops will be limited in numbers with safety measures in place to limit any risk to you or tutors.

These sessions will be in February and will include the following:

Positive thinking Monday 22nd Feb @ 12:30 p.m. (Coopers Lodge)
Motivation  Monday 1st March @12:30 p.m. (Coopers Lodge)
