Children’s Mental Health Week

Children’s Mental Health Week 2020, from February 3 – 9, is a national focus on the mental health and wellbeing of young people and we’re proud to support this awareness raising campaign. Did you know 1 in 8 children and young people have a diagnosable mental health issue?

This year’s theme is Find your Brave. Children’s mental health charity Place2Be, which runs the annual campaign week, says bravery comes in all shapes and sizes and is different for everyone. Bravery can be about sharing worries and asking for help, trying something new or pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. Finding your Brave can build your confidence, self-esteem and make you feel good about yourself.
