Celebrating Mums in Mind
The Coventry and Warwickshire Mind Mums in Mind service has been named Highly Commended at the national Positive Practice in Mental Health (PPiMH) Awards.
This fantastic news follows the service’s success at the PPiMH Children’s and Young People’s Awards ceremony earlier this year at which service staff and volunteers were presented with a Special Award for Overall Achievement. The result put the service through to the national finals held on 10th October 2019, World Mental Health Day – A brilliant way to round off CW Mind’s celebrations on the day to raise awareness of mental health.
Zoe Moore and Kelly Moore, joint co-ordinators, and Charlotte Jesse, Mums in Mind support worker, attended the evening to celebrate the service’s success.
Kelly White, Mums in Mind Service Coordinator, said: “The staff and volunteers of Mums in Mind were honoured and proud to be nominated for the 2019 national Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards. The service was up against some of the country’s leading mental health projects and to be Highly Commended was such fabulous recognition for the hard work and passion from everyone involved with Mums in Mind.”Kelly White
Huge congratulations to all the staff, volunteers and clients without whom Mums in Mind wouldn’t be the amazing service it is.
