It’s a year since we first introduced Emily Bunce and Dee Hodgson as Ambassadors for CW Mind.
Fantastic mental health advocates, the pair have given their free time to spread the word of CW Mind. Their voluntary work has seen them give talks at fundraising events, accept charity donations, appear on the radio and more to promote the work we do here at Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.
The Ambassadors’ activities have included the fun and games of the Donkey Derby in Coventry to getting active every day for Red January and the glitz and glamour of Coventry does Strictly in which Dee was a dancer and Emily a fundraiser.
We are so proud to have both Emily and Dee on board. It’s been a brilliant year so far.
Dee said: “As ambassadors, we have bonded and taken every opportunity to continue to raise the profile of this amazing organisation. It never fails to amaze me how hard people work within Coventry and Warwickshire Mind to support people in Coventry and Warwickshire. I continue to be humbled and astounded and if there is an opportunity to raise the profile and push away the fears and stigma that surrounds mental health we will be there. We look forward to continuing the work in the coming year.”
Emily said: “It’s been a wonderful year as an ambassador for Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. Thank you to all those who donate, volunteer, run events and do much much more! Working so closely with CW Mind has taught me a lot about myself, and all those around me.”
