Community Autism Support Service – CASS for Adults
Service Offer as of June 2021

CASS provides support for adults (18+ years) with autism (diagnosed, awaiting diagnosis or those that think they may be autistic), living in Coventry and Warwickshire. The service is suitable for individuals not currently accessing or eligible for learning disability support.

We are pleased to announce that the Community Autism Support Service (CASS) has been extended for another year, to the 31st of March 2022!

Although we had to close the doors to group activities across Coventry and Warwickshire and on 20th March 2020, we have been busy delivering support throughout the lockdown and restriction periods, including:

  • Responding to any enquiries/requests for information and support via telephone and/or email
  • Delivering regular welfare check calls to those who needed them
  • Providing online education courses and peer support groups
  • Planning for a return to offering face to face support in covid secure environments

We are pleased to tell you of the following activities that we currently have available:

Peer Support Groups

Our small peer support groups provide people with autism the opportunity to meet others across Coventry and Warwickshire. We are now offering our groups on a fortnightly basis, with face-to-face and online options.

Stratford Mondays 2pm from Monday 28th June
Nuneaton Thursdays 3.15pm from Thursday 17th June
Thursday Online Thursdays 2pm from Thursday 17th June
Rugby Fridays 1pm from Friday 18th June
Coventry Saturdays 10am from Saturday 5th June
Saturday Online Saturdays 12.30pm-1.30pm from Saturday 12th June

In order to keep the groups a manageable size, we ask that you choose from a face-to-face or online group and booking is essential.

Autism Education Course

This programme looks at how adults are affected by autism; what challenges it brings (along with the positives); and where to seek support, with room for discussion and learning from each other.
